Many thanks for the two copies of your review of the activities of the Northern, Regional Office from 1939 to 1946. It gives a very clear and compendious description, which is none the worse for being short; it has been read with great interest by the people concerned, and I am sure that it will be useful. I only hope that its preparation was not too heavy a burden on you and your staff.
